How Neo-trac works
As with many GPS tracking systems Neo-trac uses GSM/GPRS technology for its method of communication thus providing the ability to track vehicles in countries where a GSM network is present. The Driver carries an ADR Card as a means of automatically arming and disarming the system. If the vehicle moves without detecting that an ADR card is present the unit will automatically send out an unauthorised alert to the 24 hour SOC (secure operations center). Once the theft is confirmed with the customer the SOC will liase directly with the relevant police force to recover the vehicle.
