Diesel tuning and Engine ECU remapping will increase your cars performance and economy
Tuning modern vehicles (ones controlled by an engine ECU) can be done in one of two ways; by fitting a tuning box to the vehicle or by remapping the existing engine ECU. We offer both solutions and they both improve the cars perfomance, torque and economy.
However the most efficient method is to remap the engine ECU. When the ECU is remapped several parameters within the engine map are slightly altered, all these small adjustments have a extremely positive effect on the way the engine performs. There are noticeable gains in power, torque and economy. The economy comes from the engine running more efficiently hence less fuel is used.
We can remap both petrol and diesel engines with the best results from diesel and turbo charged petrol engines.
Tuning boxes work by increasing fuel pressure and tricking the ECU. Although the result is positive it is not as good as a remap. We can supply and fit these units, but is can also be considered as a DIY option.
